Ricardo has been with Richard and Rice since 2005, joining only two months after the company started doing business. Unlike many in the business, Ricardo has an academic background in finance and international business, having received his bachelors degree at FIU and attending FSU as well. For a time, he was a financial executive at Citibank. But, beginning at age 15, until he was 23, he worked doing rough carpentry form work.

For two years before the formation of Richard and Rice, he worked in conjunction with Gaetan Richards and Murray Rice as a superintendent. Since joining Richard and Rice Ricardo received 30 hr. OSHA safety and "Competent Person" certification.

Like so many of his associates, Chris Rokanas had a relationship with both Gaetan Richard and Murray Rice that goes back, in his case nearly to 1993. He has been with Richard and Rice since the company opened in 2004. He has held his current position as Area Manager since 2009. He has a 30 hour OSHA safety certification. Chris is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada.

Steve King was the second employee hired by Richard and Rice, when they first opened their company in 2004. He was initially hired as a superintendent and was promoted to Area Manager in 2010. As a country boy from Erie County, Pennsylvania, Steve likes to live in the country so he's figured out how to live away from the hustle and bustle of his territory, which runs from South Brevard County to Northern Palm Beach County.
Steve holds the 30 hours OSHA safety certification.

Bobby Violino has been in the construction business since the summer of his junior year in high school when he began working as a carpenter. After graduation, he briefly attended college, but realized that his heart was in the construction business and quickly returned to the industry. Years passed and, in 1986, he got his General Contractor license, handling his own construction crews for his own business as well as sub-contracting for other companies.

In 1995 he began working in the shell construction business with Gaetan Richard and Murray Rice. A Master Carpenter, Bobby started the management aspect of his career then, as superintendent and after a year, was made project manager, working with Gaetan and Murray for 12 years. He joined Richard and Rice in 2008 as Area Manager. Bobby holds both the 30 Hour OSHA safety certification and the "Competent Person" designation.

After graduating from high school in 1998 Gilbert worked as as a slab/tie beam rough carpenter.  Along the way Gilbert learned to read plans and many other aspects about the construction business. Gilbert started his carrier as a superintendent with Trinity Construction in 2004 where he met Bobby Violino and Gaetan Richard.  Gilbert joined Richard and Rice Construction in March 2008 again starting as a superintendent and after 4 years with the company was given an opportunity to become a manager.  Gilbert currently is a construction manager in the Fort Myers to Estero area and reports to Bobby Violino.

Bob Purvis has been with Richard and Rice since 2008. He first worked with Gaetan Richard and Murray Rice for five years starting back in 1998. He has done shell construction for his entire career. Bob began his career with another company back in 1992 where concrete masonry, slabs and carpentry became his specialties. During those years, he held a management job for 15 years and the balance of the time he was a superintendent. Bob is certified with both the 30 Hour OSHA training and "Competent Person."

Phillip Mantecon has known Gaetan Richard and Murray Rice since 1997 and he has worked with them on and off for 10 years. His background includes working as assistant supervisor, and project manager. He has served as an Area Manager at Richard and Rice since 2009. His territory is northwest Florida, from Tallahassee to Pensacola. Phillip received training in both the 30 Hour OSHA safety certification and "Competent Person."

Tom was born in Florida and has lived and worked in Indian River county for over 30 yrs.  In 1993 Tom started working in construction as a carpenter until 2000.  Shortly after starting carpentry work Tom obtained his state license for framing and worked primarily as a subcontractor for various builders.  Prior to coming to work for Richard and Rice, Tom spent time working for builders as a Superintendent and later in Project Management.  Tom joined the Richard and Rice team as a superintendent dealing mostly with Custom and Commercial projects.  Tom is certified with both the 30 Hour OSHA training and "Competent Person."
